Utilization of Various Vegetable Insecticides to Control Grayak Caterpillars (Spodoptera litura) on Soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill) in Laboratory

The aim of this study was to observe the effect various vegetable insecticide extracts on controlling armyworm (Spodoptera litura) soybean plants in laboratory. research conducted at Plant Protection Laboratory, Faculty Agriculture, University Medan Area, from November 2021 April 2022, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) Non Factorial, consisting 7 treatment levels, namely: N0 = no (control), N1 Mindi leaf extract concentration 5% (50 m/l water), N2 10% (100 ml.l N3 15% (150 N4 Babadotan 5 % ml/l air), N5 ml/lair), N6 with repetition 3. Parameters observed for Armyworm Mortality (%), LC50, LT50, proportion effectiveness insecticides mortality and amount feed consumed. results showed that application had significant very 4 days after 10 highest 15%. LC50 values plant mindi leaves babadotan were almost same, namely 4.69 4.48%. LT 50 value faster than extract, 5.145 4.633 days.
